ABOUT ME
I’ll never forget the day my dad came home with a brand new Kodak film pocket camera.
I still feel the same about a camera and experiencing it for the first time, EVERY time! Such an amazing feeling to be able to capture moments, no, memories. The journey began way back then, when I was 7 years old.
Life happened and somehow along the way, I had lost my path or rather, dream but always loved that feeling... that moment, every photo!
I have always been very passionate about Wildlife and Nature and from a young age wanted to become a ranger... still a ‘one day’ dream, perhaps now, more of an Conservationist or Wildlife Ambassador.
During April 2017 I made a conscious decision to take my photography serious. I believed that I have the raw talent and an eye for photography and wanted to take my ‘natural’ talent to the next level. I took the step and enrolled in a course to learn the "technical stuff".
My first DSLR camera body and lenses were acquired in May 2017 and since I have been absolutely in love with everything photography. I have once again, found and come back my passion.
I have a full-time job as a Software Specialist and thus do all my photography in my spare time. I take every opportunity and every moment I can to get out into the bush and onto the dirt roads.
We are very fortunate to have Addo Elephant National Park only a 30 minute drive from home and thus I spend most of my time photographing the Wildlife there. When we do travel, my cameras, off coarse, go with (packed before anything else).
